  1. Full-size function keys as additional top row

Add an additional row of full size keys at the top of each hand for the function keys, if you don't use them, you won't likely notice they're there. They look nearly impossible to use from a haptic position standpoint on the pointer finger to differentiate by position.

My biggest complaint with my Kinesis Advantage are the function keys, as someone who uses all the keyboard shortcuts, it becomes very difficult to target the smaller function keys, which appear to be larger than the ones that you're showing in your demo.

  2. Palm buttons

Ideally they would work like Shift/Command/Option/Control and toggle only for the length that held, or toggle permanently depending on programming of keyboard. You could map to Yellow/Blue Button Alternatives.

Added image of how it might be placed

  4. Have a showing.

I'm so interested in testing these but afraid to purchase without testing first. I type ALOT at work these seems like it would completely speed things up.

Where can I try them out?

  5. Use the second mouse to scroll (wheel)

Why do we need scroll wheels when you have a second mouse in your other hand?
I suggest configurable (so that left and right bias is accounted for), but that would allow the 2 hands to work in tandem.

  6. To DON'T have the buttons UNDER the thumbs... you have to REST the thumbs, not only the wrists...

There's TINY BUTTONS located UNDER the THUMBS, the product
DON'T give the option to REST the THUMBS, only the WRISTS...

    The bigger button MAYBE useful...

The Buttons HAVE TO BE BACKLITTEN...

    Sincerely Yours

  7. Free thumb finger.

The idea on having my thumb "stuck" hurts even before testing it... that could make the keyboard very unconfortable

  9. Option to be a regular keyboard

I would still use an independent mouse.. this device is too big and probably too heavy for that porpouse

  11. Two or more customizable profiles stored onboard, switchable on fly

I hope to be able to easily switch with just one press (of multiple buttons) between different keyboard layouts. Particularly because I plan to connect to a desktop and laptop at various times, but with differing layout profiles. It wouldn't expect the KeyMouse to automatically select my preferred profile based on the connected device (although that would be super cool icing on the cake). When connecting to some devices I'm going to want certain remappings in hardware, whereas in others although I may be going for the same remaps it'll already be done in software (for example when a laptop…

  13. Thumbkeys on left KeyMouse - change suggestion

Having a "Space" button only on the right KeyMouse seems odd since many people use their left thumb to hit the spacebar (and given the tendency to switch depending on difference contexts, such as games or apps), but especially since it would only take the elimination of a redundant "Esc" key.

My suggestion is: left KeyMouse thumb buttons, "Space" and "Backspace"; right KeyMouse thumb buttons, "Del" and "Space", exactly as in the latest gallery image. This way the thumb buttons would mirror, with the "Space" keys closest to the mice and the complementary text-removal keys just a partial extension away.

  16. simplify

many people don't use all the buttons on a keyboard. Personally I've never/seldom used the function keys, ins home, page up page down, keys. It could be worth surveying users to see how many and which keys they really need. I realize this varies with power users of different software. I'm primarily a writer interested in the letter keys.

  18. Angle alternation for function keys (odd/even) to help differentiate

Function keys are so tiny and all the same. It's easy to find them.. except hard to differentiate. Perhaps altenating the angle between odd and even (or whatever else) could be a helpful haptic clue here as well? Or would it be more annoying than helpful? Hard for me to tell without it in my hands. But I just keep imagining myself generally typing along not needing to look at the keyboard except needing to pause and squint to when I want to hit the right tiny little function key.

  20. Mousewheel and Buttons.

Not sure if this is already in your design. I know I can turn off the right or left mouse. When I do this does it turn off the laser and the mouse buttons at the same time or just the laser.
